Hey! I’m Cristina and while my family is Peruvian, I am a Florida native born in Jacksonville, Fl. I do my best to make you feel like you are going boating with friends when you are on my tour. I began developing dolphin eco tours near Fort Myers Beach for Good Time Charters in 2006 with a goal and mission to offer authentic eco tour experiences, that educate the public in a fun and affordable way. I also own Fort Myers Beach Yoga llc and am an aerial circus performer for Citrus Circus so I stay very busy but love what I do. I have a degree in Biology from the University of North Fl, and travel as often as I can. Travel and enrichment is life for me!

I am surviving stage 3 cancer, and have a life full of all kinds of experiences so far. I feel that makes me very relatable to many people I meet and can enhance our experience together on the water. I have a candid sense of humor, am told I’m a wealth of knowledge about the local fish, wildlife, and environment, and make for a fun and insightful experience!

Hey everybody! I am originally from Connecticut, and am a former Coast Guardsman. I worked on an ice breaker in New York Harbor before getting a transfer here to defrost on Ft Myers Beach as part of the Search and Rescue team. After my service with the Coast Guard I decided to stay in Fort Myers Beach. I began guiding in 2003 and am our primary fishing guide. I am a certified Coastal Florida Master Naturalist and am a closet birder lol. Over the years, I have been fortunate to have built up a long list of clients and many return customers. I now book up months in advance and love what I do!

The community votes me best backwater fishing guide in Ft Myers Beach and I love to take out kids to get them outside. My patience and hard working ethic contributes to my success as a guide and I work great with all ages and skill levels. I am very knowledgeable of the local waterways and wildlife and will to my best to provide you and your family with an experience that you will cherish for a lifetime.

Hi! I’m Ashley — born and raised in Nebraska but always a beach girl at heart. I grew up visiting Fort Myers Beach and have been obsessed with everything about the ocean and have a deep appreciation for the wildlife we share this planet with. After graduating high school early, I made that dream a reality, moving to Ft Myers to attend FGCU and falling in love with working on the water alongside Cristina.
When Hurricane Ian changed everything, I earned my master’s degree in digital marketing and built a vintage clothing and jewelry business, blending my love for sustainability with creativity. After 2 long years of Hurricane recovery, I got a text from Cristina that she had built a brand new boat and needed a first mate again. (How could I say no !!) So here I am!

I’m a certified Florida Coastal Master Naturalist and Sanibel Shell Ambassador. I’m passionate about helping you connect with the ocean and its incredible wildlife — and of course, spotting some dolphins! Can’t wait to see you on board!

Hi, I’m Captain Josh DeKoning!

I’m originally from Michigan, but I’ve been soaking up the sun here in Florida for the past three years—and I’ve completely fallen in love with the water and the estuary we call home in Fort Myers Beach.

I went to Adrian College, where I traveled the country on our nationally ranked bass fishing team. One of the highlights of my life was competing alongside the pros on the Bassmaster Classic stage. Fishing has always been a passion of mine, and it’s what eventually led me to earn my captain’s license in 2021.

I love being out on the water, sharing stories, spotting wildlife, and making sure everyone on board has a great time. I can’t wait to welcome you aboard and show you why this place is so special!

Hi, I’m Captain Ty. I’ve been with Good Time Charters since 2018, and every day I get to share the beauty of our local ecosystem is a day I consider well spent. I grew up in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York and studied at SUNY Oswego before setting out to explore the world. My journey has taken me to Spain, Australia, Holland, and the US Virgin Islands—each place deepening my appreciation for nature and different cultures.

Before becoming a captain in 2015, I spent eight incredible years as a scuba diving instructor, guiding divers through some of the world’s most breathtaking underwater environments—from the Great Barrier Reef and Galápagos to Indonesia, Bonaire, and the Caribbean. Conservation has always been at the heart of what I do, and I take pride in sharing that passion with others.

When I moved to Fort Myers Beach in 2018, joining Good Time Charters felt like a perfect fit. I’m meticulous about safety, committed to giving every guest a top-notch experience, and always tuned in to the wonders of the water around us. I’m also a commercial pilot, so whether it’s below the surface, across the sea, or high above the clouds—I’ve probably explored it.

I look forward to welcoming you aboard and helping you experience the magic of Estero Bay and beyond.
